How to have fun at the Louvre

If you've been reading this blog regularly you likely know that my boyfriend and I went to Europe for three weeks in May this year. While in Paris - and since my bf had never been before - we went to the Louvre. This was my third time going there, and boy am I sick of it. The crowds, the camera flashes, the inability to stand in front of a painting and admire it because people are shoving you and waiting to take a picture of it - it's the worst kind of art interaction I've ever encountered. Anyway, here are some pics of Jesse and me doing exactly that: standing in front of paintings. LOL

 The crowds
 Crazy Mona Lisa crowd
Jesse and I are not impressed with the Mona Lisa

 Liberty Leading the People

 David, pronounced Daw-veeed

Jesse's a big David fan

Not very impressed by Venus de Milo

 Louis XIV

At the end of our visit we were so starved we went to the Louvre cafeteria, but all we could afford were these two meager croissants.

All in all, the Louvre is an experience not to be missed. However, once is really enough.
